About Me:
My name is Milad Gueramian and I'm seventeen years old. I was chosen to play in a PBS movie for the Sundance festival, however the movie was cancelled because of budget problems. I read Funny in Farsi when it first came out and I really enjoyed it. Furthermore, I spoke with the author, Firoozeh Dumas when she visited my high school (Santa Monica High School), and I met her parents as well, which was interesting since I liked reading about them in the book. I can read and write in Farsi, and I can speak it very well. I am also proficient in French. My hobbies are playing soccer (competitive club teams) and playing the piano. I occasionally paint. I'm very outgoing and I like to try different things, for example I am a certified lifeguard.
